- The great goddess: Isis was one of the most loved goddesses of ancient Egypt — the goddess of magic, healing, motherhood and protection.
- Isis & Osiris: When her husband Osiris was killed by his jealous brother Set, Isis searched all of Egypt to find him, and brought him back to life with her magic. Their story became one of the great love stories of the ancient world.
- Mother of Horus: She raised their son Horus in secret and protected him until he was strong enough to reclaim his father's throne — which is why Isis became the symbol of the devoted, protective mother.
- Her wings: Isis is often shown with her wings spread wide, sheltering those she loves. Wearing her wings is a symbol of protection.
- Isis & Cleopatra: Isis was so powerful that queens wanted to be her. Cleopatra, the last queen of Egypt, presented herself as the living Isis and called herself "the New Isis".
